Center Parcs has revealed what the lodges will look like at its fifth park, due to open later this spring near Ampthill in Bedfordshire. The Woodland Lodge, show in the picture, is the first of 625 lodges to be opened at Center Parcs Woburn Forest, a few miles from junction 13 of the M1 and 45 minutes north of London.
The video below shows a timelapse of the lodge construction.
As well as the Woodland Lodges, there will be Executive Lodges, Exclusive lodges and a 75-room hotel.
The Center Parcs will offer more than 100 activities including tree trekking, kayaking, fencing, bowling, squash and tennis and will have the largest swimming centre of any of the company’s UK properties. The Subtropical Swimming Paradise will have several pools and three water rides.
Lodges at the Woburn Forest site are currently available to book from June 2014.
There are currently Center Parcs locations across the UK; Sherwood Forest (Nottinghamshire), Elveden Forest (Suffolk), Longleat Forest (Wiltshire) and Whinfell Forest (Cumbria). The company’s properties in the UK enjoy 97% average occupancy and welcome 1.6 million guests every year.
