Thomson has opened a new “holiday design store” on Lord Street in Liverpool. It is the second such store for the company and follows the success of its branch in the Bluewater Shopping Centre.
The Lord Street branch has been open since 1988 but has now been completely revamped with the company’s new concept, which includes an 84” touch screen interactive map and interactive tables.
Customers at the store can view top ten lists, live weather information, read reviews and social media feeds and view videos of destinations on the tables and screens. Customers can choose to browse on their own devices or with staff in a central area. There are also booths where customers can see relevant holiday images and video content projected onto a wall.

Our first store at Bluewater Shopping Centre has proved to be a huge success and it’s great to be able to offer this unique service to our customers in the Liverpool area.
