PLANES ON A PLANE

I like these, I like these a lot. The picture at the top shows the funky new cutlery set introduced by Air France for the 2.7 million passengers who fly with the airline each year who are under 12 years of age.

This knife and fork set, from Catalan designer Eugeni Quitllet, is just part of what the French carrier is now offering its younger guests – including almost half a million babies.

As well as the cutlery, the youngest children also get privileged treatment and can get their food before all the other passengers.

The airline has also introduced new kids’ kits, including colouring books, bracelets, pilots’ wings, postcards and passport cases.

There are days when you just wish you were a child again.
